McKeen & Associates Managing Partner was quoted as part of PBS’s Frontline Opioid series. The firm, represents victims of former physician Gavin Awerbach, who over prescribed opioid drugs resulting in the deaths of Stephanie Yon and Stephanie Lopez. McKeen says that no one could mistake Subsys, meant for end-of-life cancer pain, as safe.

“It doesn’t happen because of a lack of scientific knowledge, or a lack of warning. It happens because of doctors disregarding patient safety and putting their own financial interest first,” he says.
