Richard Carolan

Richard Carolan is an associate at McKeen & Associates, bringing nearly four decades of legal experience to the firm since joining the firm in 2026.

Over the course of his career, Richard has spent 29 years representing victims of personal injury, employment discrimination, and medical malpractice, as well as 10 years on the defense side handling claims involving fraudulent medical practices and devices, primarily those involving brain and other neurological injuries.

He has practiced extensively throughout Michigan, Ohio, and Kentucky, as well as in federal courts, and is a seasoned litigator who has tried approximately 100 cases in both state and federal courts. Richard has also successfully argued cases before state and federal appellate courts involving medical malpractice, pharmaceutical liability, and premises liability.

Outside of his legal practice, Richard enjoys spending time with his four children, two dogs, and being actively involved in his church.
