Biography
Ian Wendrow joined McKeen & Associates in 2025, after clerking at the firm and passing the State Bar of Michigan exam.
Ian graduated from Michigan State University with a master’s degree in journalism and earned his law degree from University of Detroit Mercy – School of Law. While in law school, Ian, revived and led the student chapter of the National Lawyers’ Guild (NLG) and served as a board member of its Detroit & Michigan Chapter. He remains actively involved in the Guild’s efforts of protecting civil liberties and empowering law for the people, rather than property.
Ian also served as a Water Equity Legal Fellow with We the People of Detroit, where he researched and helped draft policy recommendations to make drinking water more affordable and safer for Metro Detroit residents.
When not practicing law, Ian enjoys cooking, spending time with his wife and dressing up their dog in cute outfits.
