Recently, McKeen & Associates participated in the Injury Board’s Day of Action. The Injury Board is North America’s preeminent organization of personal injury attorneys who pool their resources to benefit their communities.
This year’s day of action focused on providing nursing homes with video communication devices. These devices are a lifeline for residents to keep in touch with loved ones during the COVID-19 pandemic and social distancing measures in nursing and assisted living facilities. McKeen donated devices to two very appreciative Detroit nursing homes.
“Loneliness is an ongoing challenge for those in nursing homes, especially now with limited visitation due to the pandemic,” says Brian McKeen, McKeen & Associates managing partner. “Being able to see and communicate with friends and family goes a long way towards uplifting and comforting these folks and we are happy to play a part in making that happen.”
More than 50 law firms nationwide participated in this initiative.
