Antibiotic Zithromax Linked To Increased Risk Of Heart Problems

A new medical study revealed a disturbing connection between Zithromax (azithromycin) and fatal heart problems. Research revealed that patients taking Zithromax, or Z-Pak, were 2.5 times more likely to die from a heart problem than those taking another antibiotic, amoxicillin.

The osteoporosis drug Fosamax has already been linked to rare bone fractures and necrosis of the jawbone, but a new study reveals a more devastating side effect. Researchers at Northwestern University found that patients taking Fosamax have an increased risk of developing esophageal cancer.

Studies Further Confirm That Actos Raises Risk Of Bladder Cancer

New studies conducted by two separate research groups have further established a connection between bladder cancer and the drug Actos. The link between Actos and cancer was first detected about 18 months ago. Follow-up studies have supported the initial findings and reveal that a disproportionate amount of Actos patients later develop bladder cancer.
