Teresa E. Hohman Kasel is licensed to practice law in the States of Michigan and Ohio, the Western & Eastern Districts of Michigan and the Northern District of Ohio. Her practice at McKeen & Associates, PC involves a wide variety of medical malpractice claims, including birth trauma and wrongful death cases. She has litigated cases before the Circuit Courts in the majority of the counties in Michigan, as well as appearing before many of the Courts of Common Pleas and Courts of Appeals in Ohio.

Before joining McKeen & Associates, her prior law practice actually included defense work in the fields of workers' compensation, labor and employment, and business litigation. Mrs. Kasel obtained a B.A. in Spanish and a B.S. in International Business from Wheeling Jesuit University in Wheeling, West Virginia. During her law school career, she interned for the Disciplinary Counsel for the State of Ohio and was involved with the Legal Clinic of Capital University Law School in Columbus, Ohio. Following graduation from Capital University in which she obtained a J.D. in law, she worked as Assistant General Counsel for CompManagement Inc., a third-party administrator for nationwide workers' compensation claims. She soon joined the defense firms of Roetzel & Andress LPA, based in Ohio, and later, Charfoos, Reiter, Peterson, Jones, Dorland & Hebert, P.C., which is based in Michigan.

In addition, Mrs. Kasel speaks fluent Spanish and is an avid world traveler. She is a member of the State Bars of Michigan and Ohio, the Michigan Association for Justice, and the American Association for Justice.
